Hello,

here are the required documents you need to obtain a visa for France:

List of required documents:
All applicants are required to submit the following documents (Original and photocopy);

Tourist Visa Application You are kindly requested to present your documents in the FOLLOWING ORDER:
Signed application for Schengen visa with photo taken against a white background (35mm x 45mm) + 1 extra photo
Cover letter explaining the purpose of your trip as well as dates and places to be visited
Details about the trip:
Confirmed hotel booking or affidavit of lodging (Attestation d’Accueil) if you are invited by a French resident.
Round trip flight ticket booking
Complete itinerary with departure and return dates
Proof of employment (if any):
Certificate of employment with monthly salary and leave of absence approved by employer
For self employed : official business registration for current and previous year.
For priests, nuns and missionaries : certificate from the Apostolic Nunciature and letter of guarantee from French and Filipino congregation.
Proof of income:
Income tax return from previous year, where applicable
Recent bank certification
Photocopy of the last three months statement of account of the same bank account
Identity / Marital status :
Photocopy of the first page of your valid passport and all relevant obtained visas
For married people : photocopy of your mariage contract and birth certificate anthenticated by the NSO
For single people : photocopy of your birth certificate authenticated by the NSO
For minors, certified affidavit from one or both parents if they don’t travel with the child
An international valid worldwide travel insurance (medical expenses and repatriation) for the duration of the visa and valid for all Schengen states. Minimum coverage should be EUR 30,000.
For a visa valid 5 to 15 days, insurance policy should cover 30 days.
For a visa valid 16 to 30 days, insurance policy should cover 45 days.
For a visa valid 31 to 90 days, insurance policy should cover 90 days.
Flight booking (please do not purchase your ticket unless your visa is granted).


Business Visa Application You are kindly requested to present your documents in the FOLLOWING ORDER:
Signed application for Schengen visa with photo taken against a white background (35mm x 45mm) + 1 extra photo
Cover letter from company in the Philippines with dates and purpose of the trip.
Business invitation letter from French company (preferably written in French)
Proof of income:
Official business registration of current and previous years (if self employed)
Income tax return from previous year, where applicable
Salary slips (last three months)
Bank account statements (last three months)
Idendity and marital status:
Photocopy of the first page of the valid passport and all relevant previous and / or valid visas.
For married people : photocopy of your mariage contract and birth certificate anthenticated by the NSO
For single people : photocopy of your birth certificate authenticated by the NSO.

Affidavit from both parents with employment, bank certifications, and ITR of parents
Proof of enrollment in a university/college/school

Housewives All the documents form the husband (bank and employment certificates, income tax returns, etc.)


In case of Minors
Certified affidavit of parental or guardian’s consent
A recently duly authenticated birth certificate from the N.S.O. (National Statistics Office)
Travel certification, issued by the Philippine Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for minors below the age of 14 who will be travelling abroad unaccompanied
If minors are travelling with only one parent or with a third party, a certificate clearance from the DSWD must be presented.


Seafarers
Seaman’s book (including the old ones)
Passport (including old ones)
Contract of employment and OEC from POEA
Letter of guarantee from the Philippine agent
Letter of guarantee from the agent abroad, written in French, to be sent directly by fax to the visa section of the French Embassy (fax no. 632.857.69.51)
SOLAS or BSC certificate
Letter of guarantee from the shipping agency stating that the off-signing crew will immediately report to the visa section of the French Embassy. Letter must include the names of the signing-on and signing-off crew.

Visas for French overseas departments and territories should be applied for at the French Embassy in Manila.
